In May, our engineering team: simplified account management, launched our app store, extended our token support, and supercharged our backup system.

Single sign-on support for the tribeOS platform
With the implementation of single sign-on for account management, we’ve simplified our user experience with a single account to access all tribeOS services and marketplace. Also, tribeOS provides service as identity management so others can use tribeOS for their identity management.
-
The tribeOS App Store
We’ve created a store for clients can install specific services from the tribeOS platform. At the moment we have three active applications: Gold Lantern analytics, tribeOS Publisher and tribeOS Advertiser.
-
Support for STO tokens within the tribeOS library
We use our own tribeOS library to interact with the Bitcoin Cash blockchain. It supports all BCH transaction types, including smart contracts. Now that we’re implementing the use of security tokens, we’ve extended our library to support this.
-
Robust backup system for tribeOS databases
Because we take data very seriously, tribeOS has created a very robust database back up system. It creates full backups daily, incremental backups every 15 minutes, and we have database oplog backed up on separate drives in mirror with our database server. This allows our DevOps engineers to return the database to any state in time; in case of any problems, all data is recoverable.
